AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

     The college was established with following objectives:
         

	To serve the educational needs such as literary, moral, cultural, physical, scientific, industrial and technical etc of Nagpur and other places.
	To inculcate and develop scientific temperament among the students.
	To offer co-education in the field of science leaving aside the gender bias as our ideals are to treat all human beings alike under an umbrella of equality, truth, justice and integrity.
	To promote academic and sports activities for all round development of the students.

  About Establishment

  Dharampeth Arts and Commerce College  started in 1960.

  Dharampeth Science introduced in 1968 in memory of Late Shri.
  P.P.(Tatyasaheb) Deo denoted Rs 1,00,000/- in the purpose.
 
  Home Science introduced in 1982 & M.C.V.C. in 1989.

  Bifurcation in the Year 1996 with the following nomenclature.
  
  1. R. S. Mundle Dharampeth Arts and Commerce College.
  2. Dharampeth M.P. Deo Memorial Science College.

  Our motto is

        "Let the dawn of knowledge and wisdom be bestowed

        in the minds of the young generation"
